May is a busy month for PSAL track coaches and athletes with a slew of outstanding meets offered in the tri-state area. The Bruce Selman meet was contested Saturday May, 10th at John F Kennedy HS with strong participation from our girls and boys teams. The playoff seeding committee for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Divisions will meet Thursday May 22nd, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Coaches whose teams will not be participating in the playoffs are cordially invited to participate in seeding for the 2008 ‘A’ and or ‘B’ League playoff tournaments. First hosted in 1988, the Mayor’s Cup All-Scholastic Tennis
Tournament is the premier event for scholastic tennis players in
New York City. Held at the USTA National Tennis Center, the
Mayor’s Cup has grown to become the second largest event to be
held at this facility famed for the US Open. The Mayor’s Cup has
additionally earned the honors of being named the largest scholastic
tennis event in the Nation. With a total of 11 different events
and over 500 participants, the Mayor’s Cup All-Scholastic Tennis
Tournament provides the perfect opportunity for New York City’s
