The Girls Volleyball Exceptional Seniors’ match nominations will take place from Monday October 19, 2009 through Friday November 13, 2009. Coaches and athletic directors may nominate up to three players from their school, in any of the following positions: Setter, Outside Hitter, Middle & Libero

Kindly nominate athletes that have a chance of competing at an exceptional seniors’ level and NOT simply because they are high school seniors. Two teams (Orange and Blue) will be formed using a draft process so that competition may be maximized. Up to eighteen players may be selected for each team.

Please inform nominated athletes to check the PSAL web sites Volleyball page for tryout information. Tryouts and practice are scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2009 at a Brandeis High School, 145 W.84th St., N.Y., N.Y. 10024; at 2:00PM. Coaches interested in coaching the game should contact Freddie Rodriguez at frodrig4@schools.nyc.gov.

Nominated seniors must have a completed player profile on their team web page. Including any college they plan on attending.

The exceptional seniors match is scheduled to be played Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Brandeis High School, 145 W.84th St., N.Y., N.Y. 10024; at 2:00 PM.

Coaches may nominate players by logging on to their coaches’ page on the web site and going to the nominations link. Then enter player and position on the drop downs. Coaches may nominate up to three seniors.
